Lab 254 · Tracer Beacon

Drone navigation where the satellite signal is jammed or spoofed

Tracer Beacon — a navigation system that needs no satellite link: a ground beacon plus a compact module that mounts directly on the drone’s flight controller. Beacons are deployed across the mission area, and the drone flies between them through zones of full GPS denial or spoofing.

The beacons are virtually undetectable to enemy electronic-intelligence systems.

Part of an ecosystem for fully autonomous stealth missions: auto-launch → navigation without satellite signal → target detection → engagement — without an operator.

Compatibility: T-REX, third-party drones with Tracer Guidance

Features

Three solutions in one kit

Low-signature when dormant

While dormant, the beacon emits faint RF noise that enemy SIGINT reads as background. It becomes briefly detectable only during an active drone mission.

Waypoint navigation

Beacons are placed along the route. The drone moves beacon-to-beacon autonomously — no satellite navigation, no operator commands, no radio link. A full replacement for satellite navigation, not a supplement to it.

Drone module included

A compact module mounts directly on the drone’s flight controller (ArduPilot / BetaFlight / iNav) — no firmware or airframe rework. Fits FPV quadcopters, fixed-wing drones, bombers, logistics, relay, and reconnaissance drones.

Security

Tamper resistance

Beacons are deployed before the mission. The route — the coordinates the drone navigates by — is then loaded into the drone via a mobile app.

If the enemy finds and physically moves a beacon, the drone ignores it and continues the route on the remaining beacons. Spoofing or relocating a beacon to throw the drone off course will not work.

  4. 04If a beacon is moved, its signal is ignored and the drone holds course on the others

How it works

From deployment to mission execution

STEP 1 Deployment beacons in the field dormant until activation STEP 2 Auto-launch radio silence no GPS · no emissions STEP 3 Beacon navigation beacon → beacon through the GPS-denied zone STEP 4 Mission execution drone at target area autonomous operation GPS-DENIED / SPOOFING ZONE Full autonomy: beacon deployment → auto-launch → navigation → mission execution. No satellite signal. No operator. No emissions.
